Jed's Brushes
Jed's favorite brush is the Princeton Catalyst Polytip Bristle Brush. It is firm enough to push paint around easily, but it also has a soft end that makes it good at feathering and softer edges.
Jed uses Flats sizes 4 - 16, and one smaller Round. He has other brushes, but 99% of his work is done with these 6 brushes.

Jed's Paint and Canvas
Jed likes to use a limited Palette, especially when teaching. It makes the painting process more simple and helps you learn how to mix colors and how they work together. Using just a few colors, you can mix virtually any other color out there! Here are Jed's most commonly used colors:
